Office Space For Him

Creating an office space for a guy who has modern taste can be tricky.  You want wiggle room to add a  pop of color.  Here's an office space created by Posh Interiors, LLC for a client who loved the final look.  Many of the accessories are found at Pink Door Decor.

What is great about this board is the fact that it is neutral.  Think about it! You can add any pop of color to accessorize the bookshelf and bring this room alive.  As for the customer, he wanted dark furniture and chose the striped fabric over a blue linen fabric.  Since blue is one of his favorite colors, residential designer Terrell Dinkins will incorporate some shades of blue in this room. The blue will look fabulous with all of the silver tones and metal.

Jovita Moore's Favorite Things From Pink Door Decor

As a news anchor in busy metro-Atlanta, it is difficult to find time to shop for your home.  Convenience is key. Jovita Moore, news anchor for WSB-TV has always been a fan of trunk shows and shopping on the internet.  "Trunk shows are convenient and fun.  I have been a fan of Posh Interiors, LLC home accessories trunk shows for years," says Jovita when asked about her preference.  "Many of my home accessories were purchased through Terrell Dinkins, Residential Designer and owner of Posh Interiors out of Atlanta."

When Pink Door Decor was launched in May 2011, Jovita was one of the first customers to try out the merchandise.  "I knew if Terrell had her name behind the company, the accessories would be of high quality", states Jovita.  Pink Door Decor offers a sampling of my eclectic style, which is traditional, accented with a little contemporary flair."

Here's a sampling of Jovita's purchases and favorites from Pink Door Decor.

Tahlia Lamp

The Tahlia Lamp and Antero Console were purchased from Pink Door Decor.  The narrow frame of the console table was a perfect fit for her foyer.

Lamps Make Great Accents In Kitchens

"I love lamp lighting because it brings another element and feel to a room," said Jovita.  To fill a small nook under a cabinet in her kitchen, she purchase this beautiful glass lamp that was just the right size for the space.

Siamu Vases

Flowers Aren't The Only Center Pieces Used For Dining Tables

"I wanted something different for my dining room table, that would add color and texture. These vases were the right touch for my dining room that has a lot of dark wood tones."

"If I Had The Space, I Would Find A Home For These Pieces"

"I love the rich tones on this picture. It features my favorite color red. The ottoman is hot and would look great in a modern/retro loft."

Decorating With Fall Hues

What a great time of year for design! So many beautiful pieces are hitting the stores to give your home that warm and inviting feeling for fall. The hues this time of year are breathe taking.

Oranges, reds, golds and browns will light up a room.

Take a look at these colors on this board. Are you drawn in?

What makes the pieces for this board work so well together are the fact that many of earth's elements are present (water, wood, metal and fire).

Driftwood Table
Wood and water at it's best.

Diamond Echo Pillow
A pair on the sofa will create a focal point in the room.

Vizzini Lamp
This lamp has the illusion of movement and metal. Softens the dark brown tone of the sofa.

Klyne Sofa
Sleek, clean lines welcome bold pillows

If you are changing out your accessories for the fall, send us your before and after pictures.
